When should I open my pool?
You should open your pool a few weeks before you want to use it or as soon as weather permits if you are doing major work, new liner coping tile, plaster paint etc. Spring weather is kind of erratic so start early is my best advice to avoid delays.
How much does it cost to open my in-ground pool?
Pool openings range from $200.00 to $350.00 depending on what kind of cover you have. Water bag covers are more expensive than safety covers, and pool spa combinations are the most expensive - it is like opening two pools.
What do we do on a in-ground pool opening?
Pull off cover, dry, clean while removing debris and fold, remove winterizing plugs etc. Fire up equipment, check out operation of all equipment and vac pool. (Vac pool for one hour - any additional cleaning will be billed at $50.00 hour. We also do free delivery of chemicals and accessories with your service call.
What additional services can I have done when my pool is opened?
We can do a deep cleaning of winter covers, we can do pressure washing of your deck, deep cleaning of cartridge filters replacement of equipment heaters, pumps, filters, etc.
What items can I get a free quote on replacement?
Pool liners, concrete replacement of tile, brick, and resurfacing also: pool painting, pumps, filters, and heaters.
How can I find out what is wrong with my hot tub?
Service call is $125.00 for this you get one hour of service troubleshooting. If repairs can be done at that time and are available they will be done for service call plus parts if not you will get an estimate and service call will be included in that estimate.
My hot tub leaks, what should I do?
Take off the panel where the pump heater is located. Many times leaks come from a bad pump or just a broken fitting - those are easier fixes. If you don't see anything there, you will need a service call, including a dye test which runs $150.00 to dye and run system. This will help us to determine where leaks are and give you an estimate of repairs.
What does an above ground pool opening run?
They run between $200.00 to $250.00 if you want to use our economy service. Fill pool close to operating level and use a pump or siphon to get most of the water off and we will do the time and materials.
My pool heater won't run. What should I do before calling you?
Clean pump baskets, skimmer basket, and back wash filter or clean cartridge. Also, make sure the gas supply is on and does the pilot light?
